Click-to-WhatsApp Ads for Spas and Wellness Centres
Spas and wellness centres run click-to-WhatsApp ads for first-visit offers, massage packages and facials. AeroChat answers the person who clicks straight away, explains the treatment, books it in Mindbody, Zenoti or Phorest, and takes a deposit. Health questions go to your therapists. It all runs inside Meta’s free window.
What happens today
A first-visit facial ad brings in messages in the evening, while the therapists are fully booked. The front desk replies the next day.
Each booking takes several messages to agree a time, and first-visit no-shows are common because nothing was paid upfront.
How it runs on WhatsApp
- The ad opens WhatsApp with a prefilled message, such as “Hi, I’d like the first-visit facial offer” (example).
- AeroChat replies straight away with what the treatment includes, how long it takes and the price. This reply opens the free window.
- It searches your spa system for the guest by phone number. If WhatsApp did not pass a number, it asks for one.
- It reads free slots for the treatment and offers three.
- It books the slot they pick, creating the guest if they are new, with the ad as the source.
- It sends a deposit link and confirms the booking when it is paid.
- Pregnancy, medical conditions, injuries and skin reactions go to a therapist before anything is booked.
The recipe
Copy this into AeroChat
When someone messages us from a Facebook or Instagram ad, follow these steps.
- Read their first message to see which offer they clicked. “First-visit facial” means our 60-minute first-visit facial at S$68 (example). If it is not clear, ask which offer they saw.
- Explain what the treatment includes and how long it takes, from our knowledge base.
- Search Mindbody for the client with their phone number. If there is none, ask for their name and email and create the client.
- Check free slots for the treatment over the next 7 days and offer three.
- Book the slot they pick and send a S$20 deposit link (example). Confirm the booking when it is paid.
- Tell them the first-visit offer is limited to one per person (example).
- If they mention pregnancy, a medical condition, an injury or a skin reaction, hand the conversation to a therapist before booking.
Keep the first reply short and about the offer in the ad. Reply in the customer’s language.
Change the treatment, price and deposit to your own. For Zenoti or Phorest, name that system instead and keep the steps.
Connect the systems behind it
- Mindbody. AeroChat finds or creates the client and books the treatment from the ad.
- Zenoti. AeroChat reads free slots by treatment and therapist and books the offer.
- Phorest. AeroChat books the treatment and records the ad as the source.
- SimplyBook.me. AeroChat books the service for smaller spas using SimplyBook.me.
- HitPay. AeroChat sends the deposit link and confirms the booking once it is paid.
Airwallex payment links are built in on Growth and up.
Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.

What it costs on WhatsApp
When someone messages you from a click-to-WhatsApp ad in the WhatsApp app on Android or iOS, and you reply within 24 hours, Meta opens a free window of up to 7 days. AeroChat replies within seconds, so the window opens on every ad chat from a phone. A first-visit booking takes a few messages: the offer, the slot and the deposit link. Within 7 days of your first reply, all of them are free, including the confirmation and your team’s follow-up on an unpaid deposit. Meta Business Agent messages are the only ones still charged in the window. After it closes, service replies are free up to 1,000 a month per business phone number and then charged per message, and templates are charged per message. Rates vary by country and are set in Meta’s rate cards. AeroChat passes Meta’s WhatsApp fees through at cost. The full window rules are on the click-to-WhatsApp ads page.
Also on Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and web chat
The same workflow runs on Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok (direct messages and TikTok Shop buyer chat), Telegram, web chat and email, with the same connections. Ads that open an Instagram or Messenger chat follow their own reply windows: see click-to-Instagram ads and click-to-Messenger ads.

Questions
Can AeroChat book spa treatments from a WhatsApp ad?
Yes. It reads free slots from your spa system, books the treatment the guest picks and sends a deposit link in the same chat.
What about guests with health conditions?
AeroChat hands the conversation to a therapist when a guest mentions pregnancy, a medical condition, an injury or a skin reaction, before anything is booked.
Are replies to click-to-WhatsApp ad chats free?
Yes, if you reply within 24 hours of the customer’s first message and they messaged from WhatsApp on Android or iOS. That reply opens a free window of up to 7 days, in which service replies and marketing, utility and authentication templates are free. Meta Business Agent messages are still charged.
