Whose account receives the money?
Yours. Payments go directly to your own connected Airwallex account. AeroChat creates the payment link and reads back its status, but never holds your funds or handles card details.
Do customers have to leave the chat to pay?
In the web chat widget, no — they complete payment inline, in the conversation. On WhatsApp, Messenger and email, they receive a secure link that opens the Airwallex payment page in a new tab.
How does an order get marked paid?
Automatically. As soon as Airwallex confirms the payment, the link's status flips to Paid and the AI confirms it in the conversation — no manual reconciliation.
What currencies can I charge in?
You set a default currency and links are created in it. Airwallex supports many major currencies, so you can bill customers in the currency you sell in.
Is it secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Airwallex on its own secure pages. AeroChat only creates the link and reads the payment status — it never sees or stores card details.
