Connect Mindbody to WhatsApp and AI Chat

What you can do with Mindbody and AeroChat
- Book classes from WhatsApp. AeroChat reads your class schedule, tells the client what has space, and books them in.
- Answer pass and membership questions. AeroChat reads the client’s passes and memberships and replies with what is left and when it expires.
- Book appointments. For massages, personal training and other one-to-one sessions, AeroChat checks bookable times in Mindbody and books one.
- Cancel a class booking in chat. AeroChat removes the client from the class inside your late-cancel window.
- Answer “what’s on tonight?”. AeroChat replies with today’s classes, times, instructors and spaces left.
How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Mindbody’s Public API, documented at developers.mindbodyonline.com. Through it, AeroChat reads your classes, schedules, staff and bookable appointment times, finds clients and their passes and memberships, and adds or removes clients from classes and appointments.
Mindbody gives API access in two parts. First, create a Mindbody developer account and get an API key. Second, the business owner approves that key for your site, using the activation link or code Mindbody provides. Some actions also need a staff login with the right permissions. Mindbody charges for API calls above a free monthly allowance, so check its current API pricing.
You describe the workflow in plain English, for example “when a client asks for a spot in tonight’s yoga, check Mindbody and book them in”. AeroChat builds the workflow as a draft and asks for the API key, site ID and staff login by name. You enter them in the AeroChat dashboard. They never pass through the conversation.

When a client asks to join a class, find out which class and which day. Check our Mindbody schedule and tell them the time, instructor and spaces left. Find them in Mindbody by phone number. If they have a pass or membership that covers the class, book them in and confirm. If they do not, tell them the drop-in price from our price list and hand over to a team member to take payment. If the class is full, offer the next class of the same type.

When a client asks what classes are on, check today’s Mindbody schedule, or the day they ask about. Reply with each class, the start time, the instructor and the spaces left. Offer to book them into one.
