Click-to-WhatsApp Ads for Tuition Centres

By Alva Chew 6 min read Updated October 30, 2026

Tuition centres run click-to-WhatsApp ads for trial classes, holiday programmes and new terms. AeroChat answers the parent who clicks straight away, asks for the child’s level and subject, books a trial in a class with spaces left in Teachworks or Pike13, and logs the parent in LeadSquared. It sends a payment link for the trial fee. It all runs inside Meta’s free window.

What happens today

A trial class ad brings in messages from parents in the evening, after lessons. The centre manager replies the next day, between classes.

Each trial takes several messages to match the child’s level to a class with space, and the follow-up to enrol after the trial is often forgotten.

How it runs on WhatsApp

  1. The ad opens WhatsApp with a prefilled message, such as “Hi, I’d like a trial class for Primary 5 maths” (example).
  2. AeroChat replies straight away with what the trial includes and the fee. This reply opens the free window.
  3. It asks for the child’s level, the subject and the days that suit.
  4. It reads the class schedule and offers classes at that level with spaces left.
  5. It books the trial the parent picks and sends a payment link for the trial fee.
  6. It records the parent and child in your CRM or student system, with the ad as the source.
  7. After the trial, parents who come back to the chat get the term fees and an enrolment link.
  8. Questions about a child’s progress or special needs go to the teacher or centre manager.

The recipe

Copy this into AeroChat

When a parent messages us from a Facebook or Instagram ad, follow these steps.

  1. Read their first message to see which offer they clicked. “Trial class” means our S$30 trial class (example). If it is not clear, ask which offer they saw.
  2. Ask for the child’s name, level and subject, and which days suit them.
  3. Check the Teachworks schedule for classes at that level with spaces left and offer up to three.
  4. Book the trial lesson they pick and send a payment link for the trial fee. Confirm when it is paid, with the address and what to bring.
  5. Search LeadSquared for the parent with their phone number. If there is none, create the lead with the source “Click-to-WhatsApp ad, trial class” (example), the child’s level and the subject.
  6. If they ask about term fees, answer from our fee schedule.
  7. If they ask about their child’s progress, learning needs or a refund, hand the conversation to our centre manager.

Keep the first reply short and about the offer in the ad. Reply in the customer’s language.

Change the fee, levels and systems to your own. For Pike13, name it instead of Teachworks and keep the steps.

Connect the systems behind it

  • Teachworks. AeroChat reads classes with spaces left and books the trial lesson.
  • Pike13. AeroChat books the trial into a class for centres running Pike13.
  • LeadSquared. AeroChat creates the parent lead with the child’s level, subject and the ad as the source.
  • HitPay. AeroChat sends the payment link for the trial fee and confirms when it is paid.
  • Google Sheets. Built in by connecting a Google account. Smaller centres keep the trial list in a Google Sheet.

Airwallex payment links are built in on Growth and up.

Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.

What it costs on WhatsApp

When someone messages you from a click-to-WhatsApp ad in the WhatsApp app on Android or iOS, and you reply within 24 hours, Meta opens a free window of up to 7 days. AeroChat replies within seconds, so the window opens on every ad chat from a phone. A trial booking takes a few messages: the level, the class, the booking and the payment link. Within 7 days of your first reply, all of them are free, and so is the enrolment conversation after the trial if it falls in those 7 days. Meta Business Agent messages are the only ones still charged in the window. After it closes, service replies are free up to 1,000 a month per business phone number and then charged per message, and templates are charged per message. Rates vary by country and are set in Meta’s rate cards. AeroChat passes Meta’s WhatsApp fees through at cost. The full window rules are on the click-to-WhatsApp ads page.

Also on Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and web chat

The same workflow runs on Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok (direct messages and TikTok Shop buyer chat), Telegram, web chat and email, with the same connections. Ads that open an Instagram or Messenger chat follow their own reply windows: see click-to-Instagram ads and click-to-Messenger ads.

Questions

Can AeroChat book trial classes from a WhatsApp ad?

Yes. It asks for the child’s level and subject, reads classes with spaces left, books the trial and sends a payment link for the fee.

Does it follow up after the trial?

When the parent comes back to the chat, AeroChat answers with the term fees and an enrolment link. Your team can also follow up in the same chat, which is free while the window is open.

Are replies to click-to-WhatsApp ad chats free?

Yes, if you reply within 24 hours of the customer’s first message and they messaged from WhatsApp on Android or iOS. That reply opens a free window of up to 7 days, in which service replies and marketing, utility and authentication templates are free. Meta Business Agent messages are still charged.
