What you can do with Phorest and AeroChat
- Book appointments from WhatsApp. The client names a service and a time, AeroChat checks Phorest for free slots with the right stylist and books the one they pick.
- Move or cancel an appointment in chat. AeroChat finds the client’s booking in Phorest, offers new times and updates it, inside your cancellation policy.
- Answer “when is my next appointment?”. AeroChat checks the client’s record by phone number and replies with the date, time, service and stylist.
- Rebook “the same as last time”. AeroChat reads the client’s last visit in Phorest and offers the same service with the same stylist.
- Add new clients from the chat. When someone books for the first time, AeroChat creates the client in Phorest with their name and phone number.
How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Phorest’s public API, documented at developer.phorest.com. Through it, AeroChat reads your branches, services, staff and available appointment times, finds clients and their appointments, and creates, moves or cancels bookings.
Phorest gives out API access on request. To connect, ask Phorest for API access for your business. Phorest sends you a username and password for the API, and your business ID. Ask Phorest about any terms that come with access.
You describe the workflow in plain English, for example “when a client asks to book, check Phorest for free times with their stylist and book the one they choose”. AeroChat builds the workflow as a draft and asks for the Phorest credentials by name. You enter them in the AeroChat dashboard. They never pass through the conversation.

When a client asks to book, find out which service they want, the day and time they prefer, and whether they want a particular stylist. Check Phorest for free times for that service and stylist and offer up to three closest to what they asked for. When they choose one, find them in Phorest by phone number, or create them as a new client with their name and phone number, and book the appointment. Confirm the service, stylist, date, time and our address. Only quote services and prices from Phorest. If they ask anything you cannot answer, tell them a team member will reply and hand over.

When a client asks when their next appointment is, find them in Phorest by the phone number they are messaging from. Reply with the date, time, service and stylist of their next appointment. If you cannot find them, ask for the name the booking is under. Never share another client’s details.
