Click-to-WhatsApp Ads for B2B Suppliers
B2B suppliers run click-to-WhatsApp ads to reach trade buyers: restaurants, contractors, retailers and resellers. AeroChat answers the buyer who clicks straight away, checks product and stock data in Odoo or NetSuite, takes the quantity and delivery details, and creates the lead or deal in Pipedrive, Salesforce or Zoho CRM for your sales team. Quotes and follow-ups sent within the free window carry no Meta message fees.
What happens today
A trade ad brings in buyers asking about pack sizes, minimum orders and trade prices. The sales rep answers between visits, a day later, often with a price list PDF and no follow-up.
Leads that came from ads sit in a rep’s phone. The CRM shows none of them, so the ad looks like it did nothing.
How it runs on WhatsApp
- The ad opens WhatsApp with a prefilled message, such as “Hi, I’d like trade pricing for disposable containers” (example).
- AeroChat replies straight away and answers questions on the product, pack sizes and minimum order from your catalogue. This reply opens the free window.
- It checks stock for the items asked about in your inventory system.
- It asks for the company name, the quantity, how often they order and the delivery area.
- It searches your CRM for the company and contact, then creates or updates them with the ad as the source.
- It creates a deal with the products and quantity, and adds a note of the conversation.
- For standard items at list trade prices, it can send a quote or a payment link for a first order.
- Large or custom orders, credit terms and price negotiation go to the account’s sales rep.
The recipe
Copy this into AeroChat
When a buyer messages us from a Facebook or Instagram ad, follow these steps.
- Read their first message to see which product range they clicked. “Disposable containers” means our food packaging range (example).
- Answer questions on pack sizes, minimum order and delivery areas from our catalogue.
- Check stock in Odoo for the items they ask about and tell them what is available now.
- Ask for their company name, the quantity they need and how often they order.
- Search Pipedrive for the organisation and person. If they do not exist, create them with the source “Click-to-WhatsApp ad, packaging” (example).
- Create a deal titled with the company and the range, with the quantity in a note.
- If they ask for credit terms, a custom price or more than 500 cartons (example), hand the conversation to the sales rep who owns the account, or to our sales team.
Do not offer discounts that are not on the trade price list. Reply in the customer’s language.
Change the range, the threshold and the CRM to your own. For Salesforce or Zoho CRM, name that CRM instead and keep the steps.
Connect the systems behind it
- Odoo. AeroChat reads products and stock levels so buyers get a real answer on availability.
- NetSuite. AeroChat checks items and stock for larger suppliers running NetSuite.
- Pipedrive. AeroChat creates the organisation, person and deal, labelled with the ad campaign.
- Salesforce. AeroChat creates the lead with the ad as the source and logs the conversation on it.
- Zoho CRM. AeroChat creates the lead in Zoho CRM with what the buyer asked for.
- QuickBooks Online. AeroChat looks up an existing customer’s account before the rep follows up.
Airwallex payment links are built in on Growth and up.
Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.

What it costs on WhatsApp
When someone messages you from a click-to-WhatsApp ad in the WhatsApp app on Android or iOS, and you reply within 24 hours, Meta opens a free window of up to 7 days. AeroChat replies within seconds, so the window opens on every ad chat from a phone. Trade buyers often take a few days to decide. Within 7 days of your first reply, the answers, the quote and your rep’s follow-up messages in the same chat are all free. Meta Business Agent messages are the only ones still charged in the window. After it closes, service replies are free up to 1,000 a month per business phone number and then charged per message, and templates are charged per message. Rates vary by country and are set in Meta’s rate cards. AeroChat passes Meta’s WhatsApp fees through at cost. The full window rules are on the click-to-WhatsApp ads page.
Also on Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and web chat
The same workflow runs on Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok (direct messages and TikTok Shop buyer chat), Telegram, web chat and email, with the same connections. Ads that open an Instagram or Messenger chat follow their own reply windows: see click-to-Instagram ads and click-to-Messenger ads.

Questions
Can AeroChat give trade prices to ad leads?
Yes, from the trade price list you give it. Custom prices, credit terms and large orders go to a sales rep.
Do ad leads go into our CRM?
Yes. AeroChat creates or updates the company, contact and deal with the ad as the source, so your CRM shows which ads bring in trade accounts.
Are replies to click-to-WhatsApp ad chats free?
Yes, if you reply within 24 hours of the customer’s first message and they messaged from WhatsApp on Android or iOS. That reply opens a free window of up to 7 days, in which service replies and marketing, utility and authentication templates are free. Meta Business Agent messages are still charged.
