ManyChat Messenger Alternative for Facebook Customer Service

For a business that sells and supports customers on Facebook, AeroChat is the Messenger alternative to ManyChat. AeroChat answers Messenger chats, replies automatically to comments on your Page, and works against your own store, bookings, payments and CRM. A customer can ask, check an order, book or pay without leaving Messenger. The same workflows run on WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, email and web chat, so one setup covers every channel your customers use.
How ManyChat covers Messenger
As shown on ManyChat’s site on 31 October 2026, Facebook Messenger is one of ManyChat’s channels, alongside Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS and email. ManyChat positions itself as “the #1 Instagram automation platform”, built for “creators and social-first businesses”. Plans are priced by active contacts per month, and the number of channels depends on the plan: 2 on Free and Essential, 3 on Pro, unlimited on Business and Advanced.
Features and prices change, so check ManyChat’s current pages before you decide.
Meta’s rules for Messenger
Every Messenger tool works inside the same rules from Meta.
- A business can message someone only after they message first, and for most actions only within 24 hours of their last message.
- After someone messages from a click-to-Messenger ad, the business can reply for up to 7 days from that message.
- A person on your team can reply within a separate 7-day window using the human agent tag. Automated replies can’t use it.
- A Page can send one private reply within 7 days of a comment or visitor post.
- Automated replies must respond to a user within 30 seconds, or messaging can be limited.
- Sponsored messages can reach people outside the window and are labelled Sponsored. A one-time notification, for example a back-in-stock alert, can be used once and expires within a year. Both are Messenger only.

What AeroChat does on Messenger
Messenger questions are usually about something specific: an order, a price, an opening time, a booking. AeroChat answers from your own data and finishes the task in the chat.
- Orders and products: Shopify and WordPress are built in, so AeroChat can check stock, recommend products and look up an order after it verifies the customer’s email or phone.
- Bookings: connect Google Calendar, Setmore or SimplyBook and take a booking in the chat.
- Payments: send a payment link and the customer pays without leaving Messenger.
- Leads: details and a note of the chat go to HubSpot, Pipedrive or a Google Sheet.
- Your team: anyone with a seat can take over a chat, including from the mobile app.
You describe each workflow in your own words, in any language, and AeroChat builds it. Browse the Facebook Messenger workflows library for examples by business type, and read about Messenger customer service chatbots.

Which one fits your Facebook Page
If your Page is mainly a place for a creator’s followers to engage, ManyChat is built for that.
If customers message your Page to ask about orders, prices and bookings, the reply needs your data and the chat needs to finish the job. That is the work AeroChat does, and the same workflows then answer on WhatsApp and Instagram.
