WhatsApp Booking for Home and Field Services
Homeowners message aircon, plumbing, cleaning and repair businesses on WhatsApp to book a visit, describe a problem with a photo, or ask when the technician is coming. AeroChat handles those conversations against your job management system, such as Jobber, ServiceM8, Housecall Pro or Workiz. It collects the job details, creates the request or job, books the visit and answers status questions from the job itself.
What happens today
The owner or the office manager answers WhatsApp between jobs. They ask for the address, the unit model and a photo, then retype it all into the job system. Half the messages arrive in the evening and wait until morning.
On the day, customers message “what time is the technician coming?” and someone has to check the schedule or call the technician to answer.
How it runs on WhatsApp
- The customer describes what they need. AeroChat asks for the service type, the address, the number of units and a photo if it helps.
- It looks the customer up in your job system by phone number, or by email when no number is available, and creates a new client if needed.
- It reads the schedule and offers the available visit windows for that area and service.
- It creates the job or request with the address, the details and the photo notes, and confirms the visit window in the chat.
- When the customer asks about their booking, it reads the job status and scheduled time and replies.
- Emergencies, such as a leak or no power, go straight to the on-call person. Complaints and price disputes go to the owner.
The recipe
Copy this into AeroChat
When someone asks to book a service, follow these steps.
- Ask what service they need, the address with postal code, and how many units or rooms. Ask for a photo if it is a repair.
- Answer price questions from our service list. General servicing is S$30 per unit (example). For repairs, say the technician will quote on site.
- Search our job system for the client by phone number. If there is no phone number, ask for their email. Create a new client if they are not found.
- Offer three visit windows from the schedule, such as 9am to 12pm or 2pm to 5pm (example).
- Create the job with the service, address, number of units and their description, and confirm the date and window.
- If they ask when the technician is coming, read the job status and scheduled time and reply.
- If they mention water leaking, burning smells or no power, hand the conversation to the on-call technician straight away.
Reply in the customer’s language.
Change the prices, visit windows and emergency rule to your own before you paste it.
Connect the systems behind it
- Jobber: creates the client and the request, and answers questions about a quote from the quote itself.
- ServiceM8: checks the schedule, creates the job and reads its status.
- Housecall Pro: turns the chat into a customer and a job without anyone retyping it.
- Workiz: finds the job, reads its status and time, and creates the lead with the details your office needs.
To take a booking fee or payment after the job, add an Airwallex payment link to the recipe (Growth and above).
Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.

What it costs on WhatsApp
A customer’s message is free. AeroChat’s replies inside the 24-hour window are service messages, free up to 1,000 a month per business phone number and charged per message after that. Asking for the address, units and photo in one message instead of three cuts the reply count, which now saves money. Rates vary by country and are set in Meta’s rate cards. AeroChat passes Meta’s WhatsApp fees through at cost.
Also on Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and web chat
The same workflow runs on Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok (direct messages and TikTok Shop buyer chat), Telegram, the chat on your website and email, with the same job system connection. A booking from your website chat becomes the same kind of job as one from WhatsApp.

Questions
Can customers book a home service on WhatsApp?
Yes. AeroChat collects the job details, offers visit windows from your schedule and creates the job in your job management system. Your team sees it where they already work.
Can it tell customers when the technician will arrive?
It reads the job’s status and scheduled time from your system and replies when the customer asks. Updates you send first, such as “on the way”, go out from your job system or as an approved template.
What does WhatsApp charge for service booking messages?
The customer’s messages are free. Replies within 24 hours of the customer’s last message are free up to 1,000 a month per business phone number, then charged per message at Meta’s rate for that country.
