How the connection works
AeroChat connects through the public Workiz Developer API. It reads jobs, leads and your team, and it can create and update leads and jobs. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, turn on the Developer API add-on in the Workiz Feature Center, then open Settings, Integrations and Developer, and copy the API token and API secret. Paste them into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Workiz calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When a customer asks for a repair or a service visit, ask what the problem is, the service address with postal code, and the day and time window that suits them. Create a lead in Workiz with their name, phone, address, the job type, their preferred time and a short description of the problem. Tell them our office will confirm the time within two working hours (example). If they report a gas smell, sparks or water leaking through a ceiling, hand the conversation to our dispatcher at once.
Copy this into AeroChat
When a customer asks about their booking, find their jobs in Workiz by phone number. Reply with the job type, the status and the scheduled date and time. If the job is scheduled for today and the time has passed, tell them we are checking with the technician and hand the conversation to our dispatcher. Never change the scheduled time yourself.
