Connect TeamUp to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and AI Chat
Members and new leads message you on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, web chat or email to ask what is on and to book, but your schedule and memberships live in TeamUp. AeroChat answers those conversations and works in TeamUp as it goes: it checks the schedule and free spaces, registers the member for a class, reads their membership usage, and adds new leads as customers. It connects through TeamUp’s public API. You describe the workflow in your own words, and AeroChat builds it.
What you can do with TeamUp and AeroChat
- Book TeamUp classes from chat. AeroChat checks the schedule for the class the member wants and registers them for the session they pick.
- Answer membership and pass questions. AeroChat finds the customer in TeamUp and replies with their membership and how much of it they have used.
- Answer “is there space tonight?”. AeroChat reads the session in TeamUp and replies with the time and whether there is room.
- Add trial leads as customers. When someone new asks about a trial, AeroChat creates the customer in TeamUp with their name, email and phone.
- Tell members which classes they are booked into. AeroChat reads their attendances and replies with the next session.
Works on every chat channel
Your members message you wherever they already are. The same TeamUp connection and the same workflows run on every channel AeroChat supports, and TeamUp stays the record whichever one they use.
| Channel | What your members can do |
|---|---|
| Message your WhatsApp Business number to check the schedule, book a class, ask about their membership or sign up for a trial. Voice notes are transcribed, so a spoken request works too. | |
| Send the same requests by direct message. A comment on your post can get an automatic reply that moves the conversation to a DM. | |
| Facebook Messenger | Send the same requests to your Facebook Page. Comments on your Page posts can get an automatic reply too. |
| TikTok | Send the same requests by TikTok direct message or TikTok Shop buyer chat. Both arrive in the same TikTok inbox. |
| Telegram | Send the same requests to your business on Telegram. |
| Web chat | Do the same from the chat on your website, without leaving the page. |
| Write to your Gmail or Office 365 address and get the same answer the chat gives. |
How the connection works
AeroChat connects through TeamUp’s public API. It reads your events (sessions), attendances, customers and customer memberships, including their usage. It registers customers for events and creates new customers. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, an admin creates a machine-to-machine (M2M) token for AeroChat in your TeamUp business dashboard and copies it. The token acts for your business with admin access. Paste it into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which TeamUp calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.
Workflows to copy
Copy this into AeroChat
When a member asks to book a class, find out which class and which day. Check TeamUp for sessions of that class on that day and offer the ones with space, with their times. When they pick one, find them in TeamUp by email and register them for it. Confirm the class, date and time. If every session is full, offer the next day’s sessions.
Copy this into AeroChat
When someone new asks about a trial class, ask for their first name, last name, email and phone number. Search TeamUp for a customer with that email. If there is none, create the customer. Tell them about our trial offer from our knowledge base and offer the next beginner sessions with space.
Who uses it
Any gym, studio or coach that runs its classes and memberships in TeamUp can use it. Fitness studios, yoga and pilates studios, martial arts schools and personal trainers use it for the bookings, trial sign-ups and membership questions that arrive in chat.
What stays in TeamUp
TeamUp stays your record. Events, the schedule, memberships, payments, waivers, attendance and your customer app live there, and your team still runs the classes.
AeroChat handles the conversation. It registers customers for classes and adds new customers as your recipe asks and leaves the rest to TeamUp and your team.

Questions
Does AeroChat work with TeamUp?
Yes. AeroChat connects through TeamUp’s public API with an M2M token you create in your TeamUp business dashboard.
Can members book TeamUp classes on WhatsApp?
Yes. AeroChat checks the schedule, registers the member for the session they pick, and the booking appears in TeamUp like any other.
Do I need a developer?
No. You describe the workflow in your own words, create an M2M token in TeamUp and paste it in, and switch it on. AeroChat builds the TeamUp connection from your description and shows a checklist of what is left to do.
Which plan do I need?
Workflows via Skills are on every plan, Free included. Choose by message volume: Starter covers 500 AI responses a month and 3 seats, Growth covers 2,000 responses and 10 seats and adds payment links and broadcasts, and Advanced covers 5,000 responses and 25 seats.
Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.
