Book Momence Classes from WhatsApp

This recipe turns a booking request in chat into a confirmed Momence booking, paid with a pack or membership the member already holds. Part of connecting Momence to WhatsApp and AI chat.

What happens today

A member asks on Instagram whether there is a reformer class on Sunday morning. Whoever replies checks Momence, sends the times, waits for an answer and books the member in by hand, picking the right pack to charge. When the class is full, the member is told to check the app for the waitlist, and often does not.

The flow that works

AeroChat finds out which class the member wants and on which day.
It checks Momence for sessions of that class.
It offers the sessions with their times.
It finds the member and the pack or membership that covers the session.
It books the session with that membership, or adds them to the waitlist if it is full.

The recipe

When a member asks to book a class, follow these steps.

Ask which class they want, for example reformer pilates or hot yoga (examples), and which day.

Check Momence for sessions of that class on that day. If there are none, check the next 2 days (example).

Offer the sessions with the start time and teacher.

When they pick one, ask for the email on their Momence account and find them in Momence.

Check which of their packs or memberships can pay for that session. If one can, book the session with it. If more than one can, use the one that expires first.

If the session is full, ask whether they want to join the waitlist, and add them if they say yes.

Confirm the class, date, time and the pack used.

If they have no pack or membership that covers the session, tell them which packs we sell from our knowledge base and hand over to our team. Reply in the customer’s language.

Change the class names and the number of days to look ahead before you paste it.

What to connect

Momence. In Apps & Integrations, open the Developer API section, add a public API client and copy its client ID and secret. Set up a staff account for AeroChat. Enter these when AeroChat asks.
Your knowledge base. Upload your class descriptions, packs and studio address to AeroChat so it can answer questions before it books.

If it built the connection from Momence’s public documentation, the checklist asks you to check it once against the current docs.
