How the connection works
AeroChat connects through the public Follow Up Boss API. It sends new enquiries as lead events, which is the route Follow Up Boss recommends because it triggers your lead flow and action plans. It also reads and updates people, adds notes and creates appointments.
To connect, copy your API key in Follow Up Boss from Admin, then API, and paste it into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks. Use the key of an account owner or admin, so leads can be assigned across the team.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Follow Up Boss calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

Send them to Follow Up Boss as a new property inquiry with their name, email, phone, the listing address and their question, with the source set to WhatsApp chat (example). When a lead answers a question about their timing or financing, add a note to their person in Follow Up Boss with the answer and the date. If they say they want to buy within three months (example), tag them Hot and hand the conversation to their assigned agent.
