ManyChat Pricing in 2026: Plans, Contacts and WhatsApp Costs

ManyChat prices its plans by active contacts, the people you interact with in a month. As shown on ManyChat’s site on 31 October 2026, plans run from Free (25 contacts) to Advanced at US$199 a month (25,000 contacts), with a charge for each contact over the limit. AeroChat prices differently: each plan includes a set number of AI responses, and you top up if you use more. Below are ManyChat’s plans set out in full, then how AeroChat’s pricing works.

What “active contacts” means for your bill

ManyChat counts the people you interact with in a month. A person who messages once and a person who messages twenty times each count as one contact. Your bill grows with your audience, so a busy month or a successful campaign can move you past your plan’s limit.

The number of channels also matters. Free and Essential include 2 channels and Pro includes 3. If you want Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and TikTok together, the plan table points you to Business or Advanced.

What WhatsApp adds on ManyChat

As shown on ManyChat’s site on 31 October 2026, WhatsApp is available on paid (Pro) accounts and Meta’s message fees are paid through a ManyChat Wallet. ManyChat’s WhatsApp page describes Meta charging per new conversation in a 24-hour window, with the first 1,000 conversations a month free.

Meta has charged per delivered message, by category and country, since 1 July 2025. From 1 October 2026, each business phone number gets 1,000 free service replies a month, and each one after that is charged. Utility templates sent inside an open window are also charged from that date. Marketing templates have no free allowance. Rates vary by country and are set in Meta’s rate cards. How AeroChat’s pricing works

AeroChat works like a mobile data plan. You subscribe to a plan with a set number of AI responses, you use it, and if you use more you top up. One response is one AI reply. Replies your team sends don’t use AI responses, and neither do messages from customers.

Free: US$0, 100 AI responses a month, 1 seat, one channel.
Starter: US$49 a month, or US$39 a month paid yearly. 500 AI responses and 3 seats.
Growth: US$149 a month, or US$119 a month paid yearly. 2,000 AI responses and 10 seats, with payment links, WhatsApp broadcasts and insights.
Advanced: US$349 a month, or US$279 a month paid yearly. 5,000 AI responses and 25 seats, with self-learning, auto-translation and the full API.

Workflows via Skills are on every plan, Free included. That means a workflow that books an appointment, looks up an order or sends a payment link is available from the start. The 7-day free trial needs no credit card and moves to the Free plan when it ends, so there are no surprise charges. AeroChat passes Meta’s WhatsApp fees through at cost.

How to compare the two for your business

Start with what your chats are about. If most messages are followers reacting to content, contacts are a fair measure of what you use. If most messages are customers asking about orders, bookings and payments, the work is in the replies, and AI responses are the closer measure.

A small shop or clinic that answers a few hundred customer questions a month with AI fits Starter, which includes 500 AI responses. A business running bookings, deposits and order lookups across several channels with a team of up to 10 fits Growth, which includes 2,000 and adds payment links and broadcasts. Businesses with more volume or more staff move to Advanced, and top-ups cover busy months on any plan.

Count your own numbers for one month: how many customer conversations you have, and how many replies each one takes. That tells you more than any list price.

Does AeroChat charge per contact?
