Add WhatsApp Enquiries to Streak Pipelines
This recipe makes sure every enquiry that arrives in chat becomes a box in your Streak pipeline, with the client’s details in the fields and a summary of what they need. Part of connecting Streak to WhatsApp and AI chat.
What happens today
Your pipeline lives in Gmail, so email enquiries land in Streak with almost no effort. Enquiries on WhatsApp and Instagram do not. Someone means to create the box later, and some never make it into the pipeline at all.
The flow that works
- AeroChat answers the enquiry’s first question.
- It asks for their name, company, email and what they need.
- It searches Streak for an existing box, so a returning client is not added twice.
- It creates a box in the right stage and fills in the fields.
- It adds a comment with a short summary and assigns the box.
The recipe
Copy this into AeroChat
When someone asks about our services or sends an enquiry, answer their question first from our knowledge base. Then follow these steps.
- If we do not have them, ask for their name, company, email and what they need.
- Search Streak for a box with their company name or their name in the Sales Enquiries pipeline (example).
- If a box exists, add a comment with what they asked and do not create a new one.
- If not, create a box named after their company, or their name if they are not a company, in the New Enquiry stage (example).
- Fill in the Email, Phone, Channel and Budget fields (example fields) with what they told us.
- Add a comment with a two-line summary of what they need and their timing, and assign the box to Sam (example).
- If they ask to speak to someone, hand the conversation to our team.
Do not ask for the same detail more than once. If they do not want to share their email, carry on helping and create the box with their phone number. Reply in the customer’s language.
Change the pipeline, stage, field names and assignee to the ones your Streak pipeline uses before you paste it.
What to connect
- Streak. Open Streak in Gmail, select Integrations from the Streak sidebar and create an API key under Streak API. Use the account of someone who can see the pipeline. Paste the key in when AeroChat asks.
- Your knowledge base. Upload your product or service details to AeroChat so it can answer before it asks for details.
After you paste the recipe, AeroChat builds the workflow as a draft and shows a checklist: connect Streak, add your knowledge base if the recipe uses one, then switch it on. If it built the connection from Streak’s public documentation, the checklist asks you to check it once against the current docs.
Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.
Can’t find your tool? Message us in the chat on this page and we’ll tell you how it connects.
What you still decide
- Which pipeline and stage new enquiries go to.
- Which fields AeroChat fills, and who gets the box.
- When it hands the conversation to your team.
The result to expect
Every chat enquiry is a box in your Streak pipeline next to the ones that came by email, without anyone typing it. Nothing waits in a phone to be added later.
Measure it with your own numbers: boxes created from chat, and enquiries that became deals, for a month before and after.
Next: answer status questions from Streak in chat.
Works on every chat channel
This workflow runs the same way on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, the chat on your website and email, with the same Streak connection behind it. See what each channel does on the Streak integration page.
