Connect n8n to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and AI Chat
Customers message you on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, web chat or email, and the work behind those requests runs in your n8n workflows. AeroChat answers those conversations, sends the details to an n8n Webhook node and uses what the workflow sends back in its reply. A customer can ask for an order status, a price or a free slot and get the answer your workflow looks up, or make a request that your workflow records. You describe the workflow in your own words, and AeroChat builds it.
What you can do with n8n and AeroChat
- Answer questions from your n8n workflows. AeroChat sends the question to your workflow, which looks it up in any system n8n reaches and returns the answer for the chat.
- Send chat requests into n8n. When a customer books, orders or reports a problem, AeroChat sends the details and your workflow creates the record and returns a reference.
- Check availability before confirming. Your workflow checks a calendar or stock level and returns the options, and AeroChat offers them to the customer.
- Recognise returning customers. AeroChat sends the phone number or email, and your workflow returns what your systems know, such as their last order.
- Alert your team when a chat needs them. Your workflow posts the summary to your team chat, email or helpdesk.

Your customers message you wherever they already are. The same n8n webhook and the same workflows run on every channel AeroChat supports, and your n8n workflows run the same way whichever one they use.

How the connection works
AeroChat connects through the n8n Webhook node, on n8n Cloud or on your own n8n server. You add a Webhook node at the start of a workflow, set its method to POST and copy its production URL. AeroChat sends the details your recipe names to that URL, and the workflow runs once it is published.
To send an answer back, set the Webhook node to respond using a Respond to Webhook node, and end the workflow with that node returning the data the chat needs, for example an order status and a delivery date. AeroChat reads the reply and uses it in the conversation. You can protect the webhook with header authentication and paste the header value into AeroChat. See n8n’s Webhook node documentation.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out what to send and what to expect back, and asks you to paste in your n8n webhook URL. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When a customer asks about their order, ask for the order number. Send the order number and their phone number to our n8n webhook. The workflow replies with status and delivery_date (example fields). Tell the customer the status and the date. If the workflow replies that no order was found, ask them to check the number once, then hand over to our team if it still does not match.

When a customer reports a problem with a product or service, ask for their order number, a short description and a photo if they have one. Send these with their name, phone number and the channel they used to our n8n webhook. Tell them the reference number the workflow sends back, and that our team will reply within one working day (example).
Who uses it
Any business that runs its operations through n8n can use it, on n8n Cloud or self-hosted. That includes teams that connect a shop, a CRM and an internal database, and agencies that build workflows for their clients. If an n8n workflow can look it up or create it, a customer can ask for it in chat.
What stays in n8n
n8n stays where your automations live. Your workflows, the credentials for your other systems, the logic and the execution history stay in n8n, and you edit them there.
AeroChat handles the conversation. It collects the details, calls your webhook and uses the reply. What the workflow does with the data is up to you.

Does AeroChat work with n8n?
Yes. AeroChat sends the details from each chat to an n8n Webhook node and uses the reply your workflow returns through a Respond to Webhook node.
Can n8n send an answer back to the chat?
Yes. When the Webhook node responds through a Respond to Webhook node, AeroChat reads that response and uses it in its reply to the customer.
Do I need a developer?
No, if you can build an n8n workflow. You describe the AeroChat side in your own words, paste in the webhook URL, and switch it on. AeroChat shows a checklist of what is left to do.
Which plan do I need?
Workflows via Skills are on every plan, Free included. Choose by message volume: Starter covers 500 AI responses a month and 3 seats, Growth covers 2,000 responses and 10 seats and adds payment links and broadcasts, and Advanced covers 5,000 responses and 25 seats.
