How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Rex’s public API, documented in the Rex API docs. It reads listings and contacts, and it creates contacts, leads and notes. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, set up a dedicated user in Rex for AeroChat, from the users and security settings, with access to the listings and contacts the workflows need. Enter that user’s login in the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks. If API access is not yet switched on for your Rex account, ask Rex support to enable it first.
You describe the workflow in plain English. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Rex calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When someone asks about a listing, find the listing in Rex by address. Answer from the listing details: price guide, bedrooms, bathrooms, inspection times. Ask for their name and email. Find or create the contact in Rex by email or phone, and create a lead on the listing with their question as the note. If they ask to speak to the agent, hand the conversation to the listing agent.
Copy this into AeroChat
When an owner asks what their property is worth or wants to sell, ask for the address, property type, bedrooms and when they are thinking of selling. Create or update the contact in Rex and create an appraisal lead with those details. Tell them an agent will be in touch to arrange a time. Never give a price estimate in the chat.
