How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Agile CRM’s public REST API. It reads contacts and deals, and it creates and updates contacts, tags, notes, deals and tasks. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, an admin opens Admin Settings, then API & Analytics, in Agile CRM and copies the REST API key, as described in Agile CRM’s API documentation. Paste your Agile CRM domain, the user’s email and the key into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Agile CRM calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When someone gives their name and email in chat, search Agile CRM for a contact with that email. If there is one, add a note to it. If not, create a contact with their name, email, phone and company. Add the tags chat-lead and the channel they used (example tags). Add a note with a short summary of what they asked about.
