Send WhatsApp Leads to Pabbly Connect
This recipe sends every lead who talks to you in chat into a Pabbly Connect workflow, with their details and a summary of what they asked about. Part of connecting Pabbly Connect to WhatsApp and AI chat.
What happens today
Your opt-in form starts a Pabbly Connect workflow that adds each lead to your email list and your CRM. People who ask questions on WhatsApp or Instagram never reach that list. Someone means to add them later, and most of them miss the welcome emails and the follow-up.
The flow that works
- AeroChat answers the lead’s question first.
- It asks for their name and email, if it does not have them.
- It sends the details, the channel, the topic and a short summary to your Pabbly Connect webhook.
- Your workflow adds the lead to your email list and CRM, with a tag for the topic.
- AeroChat tells the lead what happens next.
The recipe
Copy this into AeroChat
When someone asks about our courses, products or services, answer their question first from our knowledge base. Then follow these steps.
- If we do not have their name and email, ask: “Can I take your name and email so we can send you the details?”
- Work out which topic they asked about, from this list: Courses, Coaching, Products (example values).
- Send these fields to our Pabbly Connect webhook: first name, last name, email, phone number, the channel they used, the topic, and a two-line summary of what they asked about.
- Tell them we have sent the details to their email and our team will follow up within one working day (example).
- If they ask to speak to someone, hand the conversation to our team.
Do not ask for their email more than once. If they do not want to share it, carry on helping and send their phone number instead. Reply in the customer’s language.
Use your own topic names, and map each one to a tag or list in your workflow.
What to connect
- Pabbly Connect. Create a workflow with Webhook by Pabbly as the trigger app and Catch Webhook as the event, copy its webhook URL, and paste it in when AeroChat asks.
- Your knowledge base. Upload your course, product or service details to AeroChat so it can answer before it asks for details.
