Turn WhatsApp Quote Requests into MYOB Quotes
This recipe turns a quote request in chat into a sale quote in MYOB Business, with prices from your own items. Part of connecting MYOB to WhatsApp and AI chat.
What happens today
A trade customer sends a photo of a handwritten list and asks for a price. Someone types the list into MYOB, looks up each item, finds or creates the customer card and emails the quote the next day. Busy weeks mean quotes go out late, and the customer orders from whoever replied first.
The flow that works
- AeroChat asks which products the customer needs and how many.
- It finds each one in your MYOB items and replies with the selling price.
- It finds the customer card in MYOB, or creates a new one.
- It creates a sale quote with the items and quantities.
- Your team reviews the quote and sends it from MYOB.
The recipe
Copy this into AeroChat
When someone asks for a quote or a price for several products, follow these steps.
- Ask which products they need, how many of each and where to deliver, if they have not said. If they send a photo of a list, read it back to them and ask them to confirm.
- Find each product in our MYOB items. If a product is not there, say our team will check it and leave it off the quote.
- Reply with each product, its selling price and the subtotal.
- Find the customer card in MYOB by email or phone. If there is no match, ask for their name, company, email and phone number and create a new customer card.
- Create a sale quote in MYOB for that customer with the items, quantities and our standard selling prices, and a note with the delivery address and the channel they used.
- Tell them our sales team will check the quote and send it within one working day (example).
Never offer a discount or change a price. For quotes worth more than 10,000 (example), hand the conversation to our sales team after creating the quote. Reply in the customer’s language.
Change the quote limit and the reply time to your own before you paste it.
What to connect
- MYOB Business. Approve AeroChat’s access to your MYOB business when AeroChat asks. It reads items and customer cards and creates customer cards and sale quotes. There is no key to copy.
- Your knowledge base. Upload your product details, minimum quantities and delivery terms to AeroChat so it can answer before it quotes.
After you paste the recipe, AeroChat builds the workflow as a draft and shows a checklist: connect MYOB, add your knowledge base if the recipe uses one, then switch it on. If it built the connection from MYOB’s public documentation, the checklist asks you to check it once against the current docs.
Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.

What you still decide
- Who reviews chat quotes before they go out.
- Which quotes always go to a person.
- Which items AeroChat can quote.
The result to expect
Quote requests become MYOB quotes within minutes, with no retyping. Your team checks and sends instead of building each quote from a chat message, and customers get their price the same day.
Measure it with your own numbers: time from quote request to quote sent, and quotes converted to invoices, for a month before and after.
Next: answer invoice and balance questions in chat.
Works on every chat channel
This workflow runs the same way on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, the chat on your website and email, with the same MYOB connection behind it. See what each channel does on the MYOB integration page.
