How the connection works
AeroChat connects through the public MYOB Business API. It reads customer cards, sale invoices, customer payments, items and quotes, and it can create and update customer cards, create sale quotes and fetch an invoice as a PDF. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, approve AeroChat’s access to your MYOB business when AeroChat asks. MYOB shows its own sign-in screen, where you choose the business and allow access. There is no key to copy, and you never give AeroChat your MYOB password.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which MYOB calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When a customer asks for an invoice copy or their balance, match their phone number or email to a customer card in MYOB. If there is no match, ask for their company name and the email on their account, and only continue if it matches. Reply with each open invoice number, due date and balance due, and send the invoice PDF in the chat. If they dispute an amount, hand the conversation to our accounts team. Never change an invoice.

When someone asks for a quote, ask which products and how many. Find each one in our MYOB items and reply with the selling price. Find the customer card in MYOB by email or phone, or create a new customer card with their name, company, email and phone. Create a sale quote in MYOB for that customer with the items and quantities. Tell them our sales team will check it and send the quote within one working day (example).
