Connect Make to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and AI Chat

By Alva Chew 6 min read Updated October 30, 2026

Customers message you on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, web chat or email, and the work behind those requests runs in your Make scenarios. AeroChat answers those conversations, sends the details to a Make custom webhook and uses what the scenario sends back through a Webhook response module. A customer can ask for a free slot or an order status and get the answer your scenario finds, or leave details that your scenario records. You describe the workflow in your own words, and AeroChat builds it.

What you can do with Make and AeroChat

  • Send chat leads into your scenarios. When someone leaves their details in chat, AeroChat sends them to your scenario, which adds them to your CRM, email list or sheet.
  • Book appointments through a Make scenario. Your scenario returns the free slots, AeroChat offers them, and the scenario books the one the customer picks.
  • Answer order and job status questions. AeroChat sends the order number, and your scenario returns the status from the system that holds it.
  • Recognise returning customers. AeroChat sends the phone number or email, and your scenario returns what your systems know, such as their last booking.
  • Alert your team when a chat needs them. Your scenario posts the summary to your team chat, email or helpdesk.

Works on every chat channel

Your customers message you wherever they already are. The same Make webhook and the same workflows run on every channel AeroChat supports, and your scenarios run the same way whichever one they use.

Channel What your customers can do
WhatsApp Message your WhatsApp Business number to leave their details, check a slot or ask for a status that your Make scenario looks up. Voice notes are transcribed, so a spoken request works too.
Instagram Send the same requests by direct message. A comment on your post can get an automatic reply that moves the conversation to a DM.
Facebook Messenger Send the same requests to your Facebook Page. Comments on your Page posts can get an automatic reply too.
TikTok Send the same requests by TikTok direct message or TikTok Shop buyer chat. Both arrive in the same TikTok inbox.
Telegram Send the same requests to your business on Telegram.
Web chat Do the same from the chat on your website, without leaving the page.
Email Write to your Gmail or Office 365 address and get the same answer the chat gives.

How the connection works

AeroChat connects through Make’s Webhooks app. You start a scenario with a Custom webhook trigger, copy the webhook address Make gives you and paste it into AeroChat. AeroChat sends the details your recipe names to that address, and the scenario runs as you built it.

Without a response module, Make replies with a plain acknowledgement. To send an answer back, add a Webhook response module and set its status and body to the data the chat needs, for example a list of free slots or a booking reference. AeroChat reads the body and uses it in the conversation. See Make’s webhooks documentation.

You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out what to send and what to expect back, and asks you to paste in your Make webhook address. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

Workflows to copy

Copy this into AeroChat

When someone gives their name and email or phone number in chat, send their name, email, phone, the channel they used and a two-line summary of what they asked about to our Make webhook. If the scenario replies that they are an existing customer, thank them for coming back. Tell them our team will follow up within one working day (example).

Copy this into AeroChat

When a customer asks about their order, ask for the order number. Send the order number and their phone number to our Make webhook. The scenario replies with status and delivery_date (example fields). Tell the customer both. If the scenario replies that it found no order, hand the conversation to our team with the number they gave.

Who uses it

Any business that runs its operations through Make scenarios can use it. That includes service businesses that book appointments in a calendar and log clients in a CRM, shops that pass orders between their store and their courier, and agencies that build scenarios for their clients. If a scenario can look it up or create it, a customer can ask for it in chat.

What stays in Make

Make stays where your automations live. Your scenarios, the connections to your other apps, the logic and the run history stay in Make, and you edit them there.

AeroChat handles the conversation. It collects the details, calls your webhook and uses the response. What the scenario does with the data is up to you.

These end-to-end WhatsApp workflows run with Make behind them. See them all in the WhatsApp workflows library.

Questions

Does AeroChat work with Make?

Yes. AeroChat sends the details from each chat to a Make custom webhook and uses the body your scenario returns through a Webhook response module.

Can a Make scenario send an answer back to the chat?

Yes. When your scenario ends with a Webhook response module, AeroChat reads the body it returns and uses it in its reply to the customer.

Do I need a developer?

No, if you can build a Make scenario. You describe the AeroChat side in your own words, paste in the webhook address, and switch it on. AeroChat shows a checklist of what is left to do.

Which plan do I need?

Workflows via Skills are on every plan, Free included. Choose by message volume: Starter covers 500 AI responses a month and 3 seats, Growth covers 2,000 responses and 10 seats and adds payment links and broadcasts, and Advanced covers 5,000 responses and 25 seats.

Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.
