How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Guesty’s public Open API. It reads listings, calendar availability, reservations and guests, and it can create reservations, add notes to them and open tasks. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, a Guesty admin opens Integrations, then Developer tools, and creates an OAuth application for AeroChat. Copy its client ID and client secret and paste them into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks. Guesty shows the secret only once, so copy it when you create the application. Your Guesty account needs API access for the option to appear.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Guesty calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When a guest asks if a property is free, ask for their dates and number of guests. Check the listing calendar in Guesty. If the dates are free, reply with the total for the stay and our house rules. If not, offer our other listings that are free on those dates. When they want to book, ask for their full name, email and phone number and create a reservation in Guesty with the status Inquiry (example). Tell them our team will confirm and send the payment details within two hours (example).
Copy this into AeroChat
When a guest asks about their stay, find their reservation in Guesty by phone number, email or confirmation code. Reply with their check-in and check-out dates, our check-in time and the property address. If they ask for an early check-in, a late check-out or anything extra, create a task in Guesty on that reservation with their request and tell them our team will confirm. Never share details of a reservation unless the guest’s phone or email matches it.
