Take Service Requests from WhatsApp with Jobber

By Alva Chew 3 min read Updated October 25, 2026

This recipe takes a service enquiry on WhatsApp, Instagram or web chat and creates a complete request in Jobber, with the client, the property and the details your team needs to schedule it. Part of the Jobber integration.

What happens today

A customer messages on Sunday asking for a deep clean next week. On Monday someone reads it, asks for the address and the size of the home, waits for a reply, then types the client and request into Jobber. Weekend enquiries pile up, and some customers book elsewhere before anyone answers.

The flow that works

  1. The customer says what they need. AeroChat asks for what is missing: the service, the address, the size of the job and preferred times.
  2. It looks the customer up in Jobber. If they are new, it creates the client and property.
  3. It creates the request with the service, preferred times and a summary of the chat.
  4. It tells the customer when your team will confirm a time.

The recipe

Copy this into AeroChat

When a customer asks for a service, follow these steps.

  1. Find out which service they need from our service list, the address, the size of the job (for example number of rooms or units) and two or three times that suit them.
  2. Look them up in Jobber by phone number. If they are new, collect their full name and email, then create the client and the property.
  3. Create a request in Jobber for that client and property, with the service, the size of the job, their preferred times and a short summary of the chat.
  4. Tell them our team will confirm a time within two working hours (example) and that the confirmation comes from Jobber by email or text.

Only quote prices from our price list. If the job is not on the list, say a team member will send a quote. If they describe anything unsafe, such as a gas smell or exposed wiring, hand the conversation to a person straight away. Reply in the customer’s language.

Change the services, response time and safety rules to your own before you paste it.

What to connect

  • Jobber. When AeroChat builds the workflow, sign in to Jobber and approve the access. There is no key to copy.
  • Your service and price list. Upload it to the AeroChat knowledge base.
  • Payments, if you take a deposit. Airwallex is built in. HitPay and Stripe connect through their APIs if you already use them. Payment links are included from the Growth plan.

Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.

Can’t find your tool? Message us in the chat on this page and we’ll tell you how it connects.

What you still decide

  • Which services can be requested in chat.
  • The details your team needs on every request.
  • How fast you promise to confirm a time.

The result to expect

Weekend and evening enquiries are in Jobber as complete requests by the time your team starts work. Nobody retypes a chat. Compare how long enquiries wait for a first reply for a month before and after.

Next: quote questions.
