Connect Zapier to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and AI Chat
Customers message you on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, web chat or email, and your follow-up already runs on Zaps. AeroChat answers those conversations, collects the details your Zaps need and sends them to a Zapier webhook, so the Zaps you built carry on from there. When a customer asks where things stand, AeroChat reads the answer from the Google Sheet your Zaps keep up to date. You describe the workflow in your own words, and AeroChat builds it.
What you can do with Zapier and AeroChat
- Send chat leads into your Zaps. When someone leaves their name and email in chat, AeroChat sends the details to your Zap, which adds them to your CRM, email list or sheet.
- Answer status questions from a sheet your Zaps keep up to date. When a Zap writes order, booking or job status to a Google Sheet, AeroChat looks it up there when the customer asks.
- Start a Zap from an order or booking request. AeroChat collects the items, date or address and sends them in one go, so the Zap can create the order, booking or task.
- Recognise returning customers. AeroChat checks the sheet your Zaps fill and uses what is already there, such as their last order.
- Alert your team when a chat needs them. AeroChat sends a summary to a Zap that posts it to your team chat, email or helpdesk.

How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Webhooks by Zapier. You start a Zap with the Catch Hook trigger and copy the webhook URL Zapier gives you. AeroChat sends the details your recipe names to that URL as soon as the customer has given them, and the rest of the Zap runs as you built it. Webhooks by Zapier is on Zapier’s paid plans, not the Free plan.
Zapier’s webhook trigger replies with a fixed confirmation, so a Zap cannot send an answer back into the conversation. When the customer needs to know something, such as an order or job status, have the Zap write it to a Google Sheet and connect that sheet to AeroChat, or connect the system that holds it through its own public API. You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which fields to send, and asks you to paste in your Zapier webhook URL. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When someone gives their name and email or phone number in chat, send their first name, last name, email, phone, the channel they used and a two-line summary of what they asked about to our Zapier webhook. Tell them our team will follow up within one working day (example).

When a customer asks about their order, ask for the order number. Look it up in our Order status Google Sheet (example) and tell them the status and delivery date in that row, but only if the phone number or email in the row matches theirs. If there is no matching row, send the order number, their email and phone to our Zapier webhook and tell them our team will check and reply.
Who uses it
Any business that already moves data between its apps with Zapier can use it. That includes service businesses that send leads to a CRM and an email list, shops that log orders in a sheet, and agencies that create tasks from client requests. If a Zap already starts from a form, it can start from a chat in the same way.
What stays in Zapier
Zapier stays where your automations live. Your Zaps, the apps they connect, their filters and their history stay there, and you edit them in Zapier as you do today.
AeroChat handles the conversation. It collects the details, sends them to your webhook and answers from the records you connect. What happens after the webhook is up to your Zaps.

Does AeroChat work with Zapier?
Yes. AeroChat sends the details from each chat to a webhook you create in Zapier with Webhooks by Zapier and the Catch Hook trigger.
Can a WhatsApp message start a Zap?
Yes. When a customer gives the details your recipe asks for, AeroChat sends them to your Zap’s webhook and the Zap runs.
Do I need a developer?
No. You describe the workflow in your own words, add a Catch Hook trigger in Zapier and paste its URL into AeroChat, and switch it on. AeroChat shows a checklist of what is left to do.
