Connect Vtiger CRM to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and AI Chat

How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Vtiger’s public REST API. It reads contacts, organizations, deals and cases, and it creates and updates leads, contacts, cases and comments. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, open My Preferences from the user menu in Vtiger and copy your username and access key, as described in Vtiger’s REST API manual. Use a user whose role can see the records the workflow needs. Paste both, with your Vtiger address, into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks. Vtiger does not include API access in its free One Pilot edition.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Vtiger calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When someone gives their name and email or phone number in chat, search Vtiger for a contact or lead with that email or phone. If a contact exists, add a comment to it with a short summary of what they asked about. If not, create a lead with their name, email, mobile, company and the lead source Web Site (example). Add the same summary as a comment on the lead.

When a customer reports a problem with a service or an order, ask for a short description and, if they have one, their order number. Find their contact in Vtiger by phone or email. Create a case linked to that contact with the description, the order number and the priority Normal (example). Give them the case number and tell them our support team will reply within one working day (example).

Any business that runs sales and support in Vtiger can use it. That includes service companies, distributors and agencies that handle new enquiries and support requests from existing customers in the same system.
What stays in Vtiger
Vtiger stays your record. Contacts, organizations, deals, cases, assignments and reports live there, and your team still works the deals and resolves the cases.
AeroChat handles the conversation. It looks up and updates the records your recipe asks for and leaves the rest to Vtiger and your team.
