Connect Trello to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and AI Chat

- Add follow-up messages to the card. When a customer sends more details later, AeroChat adds them as a comment on the existing card, so nothing sits in a chat thread.
- Sort requests by type. AeroChat puts quote requests, repairs and complaints (examples) on different boards or assigns them to the right person.
- Hand over with context. When a request needs a person, AeroChat hands the conversation over with a link to the card.

How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Trello’s public REST API. It reads and writes boards, lists and cards, moves cards between lists, searches cards, and adds comments, labels and members to cards. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, create a Power-Up in the Trello Power-Up admin portal, generate an API key on its Trello Auth tab, then generate a token for your account from the same page. Use an account that is a member of the boards the workflow uses. Paste the key and token into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Trello calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When a customer asks for a repair, a quote or other work, ask for their name, address, what they need and a preferred date. Create a card on the Jobs board (example) named with their name and the job, with their phone number on the first line of the card description and the details in the card description. Tell them we have logged the request and our team will confirm the date.

When a customer asks how their job is going, find the open card on the Jobs board (example) with a description that contains the customer’s phone number. Check which list it is in and reply with the matching message: New means “we have your request and will confirm the date soon”, Scheduled means “your job is booked”, In progress means “our team is working on it now”, Done means “your job is complete, reply here if anything is not right” (examples). If you cannot find the card, ask for their name and hand the conversation to our team.

What stays in Trello
Trello stays your record of the work. Boards, lists, cards, labels, members and due dates live there, and your team still plans, assigns and finishes the work.
