What you can do with Nimble and AeroChat
- Send chat leads to Nimble. When someone leaves their name and email or phone in chat, AeroChat finds or creates the contact and adds a note of the conversation.
- Qualify leads and open deals. AeroChat asks your qualifying questions, records the answers on the contact and creates a deal in the right stage.
- Answer deal status questions. AeroChat finds the customer’s deal and tells them what its stage means for them, in words you choose.
- Recognise returning contacts. AeroChat looks the person up by phone or email and uses what Nimble already knows, such as their owner and open deals.
- Hand hot leads to the right person. AeroChat passes the conversation to the contact’s owner in Nimble, with a summary.

How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Nimble’s public API. It searches, creates and updates contacts, adds notes and tasks to them, and reads and writes deals in your pipelines. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, a Nimble administrator generates an API token in Settings, then API Token, and copies it. Paste it into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Nimble calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When someone gives their name and email or phone number in chat, search Nimble for a contact with that email or phone. If there is one, update it. If not, create a contact with their name, email, phone and the channel they used. Add a note with a short summary of what they asked about. Set the source to chat (example).

When a customer asks where their quote or project stands, find their contact in Nimble by phone or email and look up their open deal. Tell them what its stage means: Proposal sent means “your proposal is with you, reply here with any questions”, Contract signed means “we will confirm your start date this week” (examples). If there is no open deal, ask for their reference number and hand the conversation to our team.
Who uses it
Nimble is used by small teams that sell through relationships, such as consultants, agencies, recruiters and professional services firms. Any of them can use it to keep chat leads and client questions in the same record as their email and calls.
What stays in Nimble
Nimble stays your record. Contacts, deals, tasks, groups and reporting live there, and your team still works the deals and owns the relationship.
AeroChat handles the conversation. It looks up what the customer asks about, creates and updates the records your recipe asks for, and leaves the rest to Nimble and your team.

Does AeroChat work with Nimble?
Yes. AeroChat connects through Nimble’s public API with an API token an administrator generates in Nimble.
Can WhatsApp leads go straight into Nimble?
Yes. When a lead gives their details in chat, AeroChat creates or updates the Nimble contact and adds a note of the conversation.
Do I need a developer?
No. You describe the workflow in your own words, generate an API token in Nimble and paste it in, and switch it on. AeroChat builds the Nimble connection from your description and shows a checklist of what is left to do.
