Leads and customers message you on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, web chat or email, but your pipeline lives in Bigin. AeroChat answers those conversations in both directions. It checks Bigin when a customer asks where their quote or order stands, and it records what they tell you as it goes: the contact, the answers that qualify them, the pipeline record and a note of the conversation. - Send chat leads to Bigin. When someone leaves their name and email or phone in chat, AeroChat finds or creates the contact and adds a note of the conversation.
- Qualify leads and open pipeline records. AeroChat asks your qualifying questions, records the answers on the contact and creates a pipeline record in the right stage.
- Answer quote and order status questions. AeroChat finds the customer’s pipeline record and tells them what its stage means for them, in words you choose.
- Recognise returning contacts. AeroChat looks the person up by phone or email and uses what Bigin already knows, such as their owner and open pipeline records.
- Hand hot leads to the right person. AeroChat passes the conversation to the contact’s owner in Bigin, with a summary.

How the connection works
AeroChat connects through the Bigin by Zoho REST API. It reads and writes contacts, companies and pipeline records (deals), and adds notes and tasks. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, a Bigin administrator creates a self client in the Zoho API Console, selects the Bigin scopes the workflow needs, for example contacts and pipelines, and generates the credentials. Paste them into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks. The steps are in Bigin’s API documentation.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Bigin calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When someone gives their name and email or phone number in chat, search Bigin for a contact with that email or phone. If there is one, update it. If not, create a contact with their name, email, phone and the channel they used. Add a note with a short summary of what they asked about. Set the source to chat (example).

When a customer asks where their quote or order stands, find their contact in Bigin by phone or email and look up their open pipeline record. Tell them what its stage means: Proposal sent means “your quote is with you, reply here with any questions”, In progress means “we are working on it and will update you by Friday” (examples). If there is no open pipeline record, ask for their reference number and hand the conversation to our team.

AeroChat handles the conversation. It looks up what the customer asks about, creates and updates the records your recipe asks for, and leaves the rest to Bigin and your team.

Does AeroChat work with Bigin?
Yes. AeroChat connects through Bigin’s public API with credentials from a self client you create in the Zoho API Console.
Can WhatsApp leads go straight into Bigin?
Yes. When a lead gives their details in chat, AeroChat creates or updates the Bigin contact and adds a note of the conversation.
Do I need a developer?
