How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Hostaway’s public API. It reads listings, the listing calendar and reservations, and it can create reservations and update their details and notes. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for.
To connect, open the API settings in your Hostaway dashboard and create an API key for AeroChat. Copy your account ID and the key, as described in the Hostaway API documentation, and paste them into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Hostaway calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When a guest asks if a property is free, ask for their dates and number of guests. Check the listing calendar in Hostaway. If every night is free, reply with the price for the stay and the minimum stay. If not, offer our other listings that are free on those dates. When they want to book, ask for their full name, email and phone number and create a reservation in Hostaway on the direct channel with the status Inquiry (example). Tell them our team will confirm and send payment details within two hours (example).
Copy this into AeroChat
When a guest asks about their booking, find their reservation in Hostaway by phone number or email. Reply with their check-in and check-out dates, the property name and our check-in time. If they tell you their arrival time or ask for an extra, add it to the reservation’s guest note in Hostaway and tell them our team will confirm. Never share a reservation with someone whose phone or email does not match it.
