Connect Kit to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and AI Chat
Customers and subscribers message you on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, web chat or email, but your marketing list lives in Kit. AeroChat answers those conversations and works with Kit as it goes. It checks whether someone is subscribed and what they signed up for, and it adds or updates them with their consent, records their interests and unsubscribes them when they ask. It connects through Kit’s public API. You describe the workflow in your own words, and AeroChat builds it.
What you can do with Kit and AeroChat
- Add chat contacts to your list with consent. When someone agrees in chat to hear from you, AeroChat adds or updates them in Kit with a record of how and when they agreed. Nobody is added without a yes.
- Answer subscription questions and unsubscribe on request. AeroChat checks the subscriber in Kit, tells them what they are signed up for, and unsubscribes them or narrows what they get when they ask.
- Recognise returning subscribers. AeroChat looks up the subscriber by email and uses what Kit already knows, such as their tags and custom fields.
- Tag subscribers by interest. When a reader asks about a course, product or topic, AeroChat adds the matching tag, which can start a sequence or automation you built in Kit.
- Record what they told you. AeroChat fills custom fields such as what they want to learn, so your segments stay current.

How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Kit’s public API. It reads and writes subscribers and their state, tags, custom fields, forms and sequences. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for. AeroChat adds someone to a marketing list only after they agree in the conversation.
To connect, the account owner opens Settings, Developer in Kit, adds a new V4 API key and copies it. Kit’s API authentication guide explains the key. Paste the key into the AeroChat dashboard when AeroChat asks.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Kit calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When someone in chat says they want our newsletter or updates about a course, ask for their email and confirm they agree to receive emails from us. Only if they say yes, create or update them as a subscriber in Kit with their first name and email, and add the tag newsletter-chat (example). If they say no, carry on helping and add nothing.
Copy this into AeroChat
When someone asks about one of our courses or products, such as the photography course (example), find their subscriber in Kit by email. Add the tag for that interest, such as interest-photography (example). Set the custom field last_chat_topic to the topic (example). Do not change their subscription. Reply in the customer’s language.
Who uses it
Creators, coaches, course sellers and small online businesses that run their newsletter in Kit can use it to turn chat questions into subscribers and to answer list questions without a login.
What stays in Kit
Kit stays your record. Your subscribers, tags, segments, forms, sequences, broadcasts and reporting live there, and you still write and send the broadcasts.
AeroChat handles the conversation. It reads and updates the subscriber records your recipe asks for and leaves the rest to Kit and your team.

Does AeroChat work with Kit?
Yes. AeroChat connects through Kit’s public API with a V4 API key you create in Kit.
Can WhatsApp contacts join my Kit list?
Yes, when they agree in the chat. AeroChat asks first, and only adds them to your list in Kit after a clear yes. If they say no, it carries on helping and adds nothing.
Do I need a developer?
No. You describe the workflow in your own words, create an API key in Kit and paste it in, and switch it on. AeroChat builds the Kit connection from your description and shows a checklist of what is left to do.
Which plan do I need?
Workflows via Skills are on every plan, Free included. Choose by message volume: Starter covers 500 AI responses a month and 3 seats, Growth covers 2,000 responses and 10 seats and adds payment links and broadcasts, and Advanced covers 5,000 responses and 25 seats.
Using a different system? If it has a public API, it connects to AeroChat the same way: describe what you want, paste in its key, and it runs.
