Connect Constant Contact to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and AI Chat

AeroChat answers those conversations and works with Constant Contact as it goes. What you can do with Constant Contact and AeroChat
- Add chat contacts to your list with consent. When someone agrees in chat to hear from you, AeroChat adds or updates them in Constant Contact with a record of how and when they agreed. Nobody is added without a yes.
- Answer subscription questions and unsubscribe on request. AeroChat checks the subscriber in Constant Contact, tells them what they are signed up for, and unsubscribes them or narrows what they get when they ask.
- Recognise returning contacts. AeroChat looks up the contact by email and uses what Constant Contact already knows, such as their lists and tags.
- Tag contacts by interest. When someone asks about an event, service or product, AeroChat adds the matching tag so your segments pick them up.
- Record what they told you. AeroChat fills custom fields such as their preferred location or what they asked about.

How the connection works
AeroChat connects through Constant Contact’s public API. It reads and writes contacts, their permission to receive email, list memberships, tags and custom fields. Each workflow uses only what its recipe asks for. AeroChat adds someone to a marketing list only after they agree in the conversation.
To connect, you sign in to Constant Contact’s V3 developer portal with your Constant Contact login, create an application under My Applications and copy its API key. The getting started guide explains each step. Enter the key in the AeroChat dashboard, then approve the access on Constant Contact’s sign-in page when AeroChat asks.
You describe the workflow in your own words. AeroChat builds it as a draft, works out which Constant Contact calls it needs, and asks you to connect. Keys and credentials are entered in the AeroChat dashboard and never pass through the conversation.

When someone in chat says they want to hear about events or offers, ask for their email and confirm they agree to receive marketing emails from us. Only if they say yes, create or update their contact in Constant Contact with their first name and email, with explicit permission, and add them to our Newsletter list (example). If they say no, carry on helping and add nothing.

When someone asks about one of our events or services, such as the cooking class (example), find their contact in Constant Contact by email. Add the tag for that interest, such as Interest: Cooking class (example). Set the custom field Last chat topic to the topic (example). Do not change their email permission. Reply in the customer’s language.

Local businesses, nonprofits, event organisers and small retailers that send their newsletters and event invitations through Constant Contact can use it to grow their list from chat.
What stays in Constant Contact
Constant Contact stays your record. Your contacts, lists, tags, segments, campaigns, event pages and reporting live there, and your team still writes and sends the campaigns.
AeroChat handles the conversation. It reads and updates the subscriber records your recipe asks for and leaves the rest to Constant Contact and your team.

Yes. AeroChat connects through Constant Contact’s public API with an application you create in Constant Contact’s developer portal with your own login.
Can WhatsApp contacts join my Constant Contact list?
Yes, when they agree in the chat. AeroChat asks first, and only adds them to your list in Constant Contact after a clear yes. If they say no, it carries on helping and adds nothing.
Do I need a developer?
No. You describe the workflow in your own words, create an application in Constant Contact’s developer portal, enter its key and approve the access, and switch it on. AeroChat builds the Constant Contact connection from your description and shows a checklist of what is left to do.
